How to delete your GTAFriends account

You can permanently delete your GTAFriends account yourself. For security, only you can do it while signed into that account: we never delete accounts from the feedback form alone.
How to delete your account
- Sign in to the account you want to remove.
- On the web: open your profile, go to the Edit tab, and use Delete account.
- In the app: open You → Delete account.
- Type your username to confirm, then delete. This cannot be undone.
What gets removed
Deleting removes your GTAFriends profile, event history tied to your account, crew memberships you own, and related app data. Any active Verified subscription is canceled when possible.
Why feedback doesn’t delete accounts
Anyone can submit the feedback form, including people who are not you. If we deleted accounts from those messages, a stranger could try to erase someone else’s profile. That’s why deletion is self-service only: sign in, confirm your username, delete.
If you choose “Delete my account” on the feedback form while signed in, we’ll email you these same steps. Nothing is deleted until you complete them on your profile.
Just want fewer emails?
You don’t need to delete your account to stop reminders or marketing mail. On Profile → Edit, open Email preferences and turn off what you don’t want.

- Can someone else delete my account using the feedback form?
- No. For security we never delete an account from feedback alone. Only the signed-in account holder can delete that account — on the web from Profile → Edit → Delete account, or in the app from You → Delete account.
- Can I undo account deletion?
- No. Deletion is permanent. If you only want fewer emails, change Email preferences on your profile instead of deleting.
